I’m Hannah Garrison. I dream, I read, and occasionally I write things down. Currently, I’m working on my first novel, Footfall, the story of a brother and sister’s journey through a foreign and magical world as they try to find their way home.

For my day job, I’m a technical editor and writer. When I’m not correcting an engineer’s grammar or falling down the rabbit hole that is writing, I like to keep myself busy. I read, hike, run, game, and garden.

This blog, H.L.M. Garrison – Failing Better at Writing, One Try at a Time, is where I hope to share my journey as a writer and world builder. I also want to use this space for sharing others’ work, all in the name of sharing the best stories out there. I eagerly welcome comments and discussion.
